Bill Summary:

Health insurance; coverage for polycystic ovary
syndrome (PCOS).
Requires health insurers, health maintenance
organizations, and corporations providing health care coverage subscription
contracts to provide coverage for treatment of PCOS, if diagnosed
by a gynecologist, endocrinologist, primary care physician, pediatrician,
nurse practitioner, dermatologist, or infertility specialist. The
bill specifies which types of treatment will be covered for PCOS.
The bill applies to policies, contracts, and plans delivered, issued
for delivery, or renewed on and after January 1, 2023.
