Bill Summary:

Class 1 felonies; mandatory minimum term of
imprisonment for life. Provides that any person convicted of
a Class 1 felony who was 18 years of age or older at the time of
the offense and is not determined to be a person with intellectual
disability shall be sentenced to a mandatory minimum term of imprisonment
for life.
